The generator accepts PNG, JPG/JPEG and WebP. Export the SVG as a sufficiently large square PNG in your design tool before uploading; changing the filename extension does not convert it.

What is in the app icon package?
Use this app icon generator when you already have a design and need PNG assets for a native app project. Choose iOS, Android or both; the ZIP contains the files below for the platforms selected. It does not create a new logo or layered adaptive icons.

This is a static image export. Android adaptive foreground/background layers, adaptive XML, monochrome layers and Apple Icon Composer files are not included.
Prepare the design before generating sizes
PNG, JPG/JPEG and WebP are supported; a square source is recommended. A clean 1024×1024 source is a useful starting point for the largest iOS output; a smaller image can be enlarged, but enlargement cannot recover missing detail.
Choose the crop yourself
Non-square images are resized and cropped from the center to fill each square icon. Use Image Cropper first if the logo is off-center or you need control over which edges remain.
Allow room around the mark
Check the design at small sizes. Fine lettering and details can become hard to read, and the optional circular mask can clip artwork near the corners.
Plan for a white background
Transparent source areas are filled with white in the standard PNG icons. Round Android variants then receive a circular mask, leaving transparent corners outside the circle.
Upload a finished design without a pre-applied rounded outer mask. Keep your original artwork so you can adjust the crop, padding or background later.

Upload the source image
Choose a PNG, JPG/JPEG or WebP. Check that the subject is centered and the source is sharp enough for the largest size you need.

Select the target platform
Choose iOS + Android, iOS Only or Android Only. For an Android export, decide whether to include the optional round PNG variants.

Generate and download
Select Generate App Icons, wait for processing to finish, then download the ZIP package. Extract it to inspect the images and folder structure.

Review in the project
Check the iOS asset slots or Android resource references in your development tools. Preview small icons and run the platform's validation before release.
Use the files in Xcode or an Android project
Extract the ZIP into a temporary folder first. Merge the assets you need instead of replacing an entire existing resource directory.
iOS asset catalog
Inspect AppIcon.appiconset and its Contents.json, then add or map the images to the app icon asset in Xcode. Check the target, required slots and build warnings against Apple's asset catalog instructions.
Android resources
Copy the selected mipmap images into the matching resource directories and check the launcher references in your project. If the app uses adaptive icons, prepare and configure their layers separately; round PNG files do not replace Android adaptive icon resources.
Store artwork and installed launcher icons serve different places. Review the Google Play icon specifications before using playstore-icon.png.

Use Favicon Generator for a website icon package. For ICO icons from a PNG, use PNG to ICO, then extract the downloaded ZIP and choose the ICO file you need. This page exports resources for native iOS and Android projects.
Images are uploaded and processed on the server. Temporary uploads and results are scheduled for cleanup, so download the package after it is ready and keep your source image. The service is not a permanent file store.
