Renaming .bmp to .pdf does not create a PDF. Use Image to PDF when you need to combine supported image formats other than BMP.
How to convert BMP images to PDF

Select your BMP images
Add up to 10 BMP files. Each file must be no larger than 20 MB, with width and height no greater than 8,192 px. Together, the files must stay within 100 MB and 200 million pixels, calculated by adding each image's width × height. All these limits apply together.

Check the page order
Review the list before converting. Use Move Up to adjust the order and remove any image you do not want in the PDF.

Select Auto, A4, Letter, or Legal, then adjust the available layout controls and the image-quality slider.

Paper, margins, and image quality
Paper size controls the page layout. Image quality controls JPEG encoding inside the PDF; these settings solve different problems.

Lower quality may reduce file size, but no setting guarantees an exact PDF size. Larger paper does not add detail to a low-resolution BMP.
Where conversion happens
Each selected batch uploads immediately. Preview and ordering changes reuse those uploaded URLs when the server generates the PDF.
Download the result when it is ready. Temporary files are handled by the service's cleanup process; this page does not promise a fixed deletion deadline.

No. The PDF contains JPEG-encoded versions of the images. Keep the original BMP files if you need their original bytes or unaltered image data.
A fixed paper size, margins, and the image's proportions determine how much space it occupies. Review those settings before converting again; changing page orientation does not rotate the picture itself.
